Inclement Weather Notice
With severe weather approaching the Cambridge/Boston area, Harvard University will curtail operations at midday on Friday, February 8th. As a result the Weatherhead Center will only hold the 9:00 AM session of the Undergraduate Thesis Conference on Friday ending at noon. We are also cancelling the session scheduled to be held on Saturday, February 9.
Should weather conditions warrant further schedule changes we will update the Center's homepage and online calendar as soon as possible. You may also consult the Harvard University homepage or Emergency Communication website. Those sites will outline the University's official response. By phone, you will find a message about the University's status at Harvard's 24-hour news line, 1-617-496-NEWS.
The Weatherhead Center Spring Thesis Conference, will feature the thesis research findings of the Center’s Undergraduate Associates. The conference entails a series of two-hour panels chaired by Faculty Associates and Graduate Student Associates. Clustered by regional or disciplinary themes, each presentation is followed by questions, commentary, and feedback for the enhancement of thesis work in its final stages.
