Conference Venue

Belfer Case Study Room (S020)
CGIS South Building
1730 Cambridge Street

Cambridge, MA 02138

Designed by Pei Cobb Freed and completed in 2005, the Center for Government and International Studies (CGIS) is affiliated with Harvard's Department of Government and various centers devoted to international and regional studies. The structure includes two new mirror-image buildings on either side of Cambridge Street distinguished by rounded contours and a distinctive terracotta facade. Its spacious, light-filled design, and state-of-the-art facilities make the structure an ideal "agora" for a lively and constructive exchange among the conference participants. The PEIF Conference will take place in the building on the south side of the street, known as the CGIS South Building.
